In my second year of the CCT program, I completed final electives and the three required capstone courses.
In the fall, I began developing ideas for anti-racist initiatives at TechBoston Academy through my work in 692. Eventually, these led to the specific project I undertook in 693 for a co-designed English course and the larger project completed for my synthesis in 694. My work in 655 - Metacognition also supported my work to integrate poetry in my English curriculum. This creative design is also present in my co-design project from 693 this spring.
My synthesis project reflects broader learning from previous courses, including design principles, ideas about fostering creative thinking, and a desire to support others to engage in critical thinking. In addition, my choice to embed my project in community (centering relationships) is one of my largest takeaways from the Critical and Creative Thinking program.
